What shape is your 'doods tail?

I'm curious on where Zoe's tail shape comes from - the poodle or GR side?  She's an F1B and has this super curlie-cue tail like an @ sign.  I love it -but when I've seen other doodles, they don't seem to be as curly.  Poodle tails seem to be much longer and straighter.  What do your 'doods tails look like?

Dark brown with some silver coming in on his back and tail. I'm told its called Phantom and all black and brown Doodles carry the gene. He's 21 months.

Darwin is F1b as well. His tail curls up most of the time too. If he is sad or scared it hangs down long.

Thanks! It keeps him dry. One time he rolled around in fresh snow and I decided I needed to make him some snow jammies and boots.

It's -40 here this week, the outfit is pretty essential in this weather. I made him a new pair of boots on the weekend, fancy red ones. He is such an angel, he stands and lets me put everything on him. I took this picture when we got home from walking the kids to school (2km.) One of his boots is twisted, but the new ones don't do that.

You made this outfit? Oh I've been looking for one like this for Josie, she's a doodle with greyhound and sadly she has the greyhound blood and is forever shivering. We need an outfit like this for our Christmas trip to Oregon. Is it hard to make? Do share...... :-)

Yes, it's Kwik-sew 3076 http://kwiksew.mccall.com/k3076-products-19792.php?page_id=3363 I bought the epattern and printed it out at home. it was a lot of taping together, but I don't have a local retailer so it was worth it to get the pattern right away.

If you have some experience sewing knits, it's not too hard to make. There isn't a zipper or anything complicated for closures, It just slips on.

Daffodils had the "nightmare before Christmas" tail until she got older then it straightened out? I absolutely loved the curl in it but sadly it's gone :(
