OMD, I Am Late With My Cards

Ok, so I finally got all my cards in the mail today...I have gotten quite a few so far, and I had to tell you this.  Our mail person remembers that last year we had gotten so many cards, she wanted to know how we knew so many people all over the country, lol..So I told her about what we do here for the holiday on DK's. Well today she actualy rang my doorbell with the mail, lol, they usually don't do that unless they have a package that doesn't fit in the mailbox. She wanted to know if I had opened all the cards so far, and could she see the beautiful doodles that we have received so far.  She was on her lunch break after our street, and I said sure, so back she came and she was just so enthralled with all the beautiful photo cards, and I showed her the one we just sent out for Oliver, and she flipped, so I gave her one.  She loves Oliver, she waves to him if she sees him in the window when she is delivering the mail.  He barks and she waves...I love all the cards we have gotten so far...I show them to everyone that comes by...Thanks everyone for the beautiful holiday cards...Oliver & his human Mom, Cheryl

thank you everyone for your replies. We have a wonderful mail person. she has been delivering our mail for 9 yrs now and she has really been a friend too...I hope you all like Olivers card, he is just awful to get pictures of, how he knows that the phone has a camera, I haven't a clue, but if he sees my camera or my phone, he runs the other way.  I have never used a flash with him, but since he has been a puppy, we have had a problem with pictures...this was a professional shot of him, and I can't believe that we got such a good one..he was absolutely terrified when they were doing it. I told the photographer that he had exactly 3 secons to shoot the shot, and somehow he did., He took off running after that and refused to sit for anymore photos....I wonder if other dogs are like that??..And the photographer was so nice. Not scary at all...

My cards arrive tomorrow, I am so excited to send them out! I think it's great that we all send them at different times because every day I get several cards. My husband gets so excited to open them, we look at each one and then I take them to work and display them on my door. My coworkers love seeing the new cards each day!

What a great mail carrier you have.  I wonder what ours thinks?  We are fastening ours to a wooden screen in our den so that we can enjoy all of these wonderful cards.

Mine just arrived last night so I should have them in the mail by tomorrow!  Great story - and I am LOVING all my cards.  I showed them to everyone at work and they're totally in awe of the beautiful doodles!

Cheryl, no worries on the late cards because I just received my order on Friday. I was prepared and got them into the mail Saturday morning. I really enjoy receiving cards with all of the adorable doodles. My husband laughs because we have more cards from doodle owners than from other friends and relatives. I hope we do this again next year!
