I'm familiar with the need for "healthy" gut flora and also that children growing up with dogs have fewer respiratory illnesses.  I found this article interesting because it brings the two together and may be the beginning of understanding how the two are connected.

Karen, you do take your Oz seriously!  Very nice collection. Who is that in the box on the right? Is that Infant Tin Man or should I call him Tin Baby?  And is that Tin Toddler sitting right below him? :)

That's the Madame Alexander Tin Man doll (you're probably too young to remember Mme. Alexander dolls) and the one in front of it is the MacDonald's Happy Meal version of it, lol. Believe it or not, that one was harder to get than the real thing...a lot cheaper, but harder.

Well, if not remembering a sign of youth than I am VERY, VERY young! LOL! I don't remember Mme Alexander Dolls but I do remember McDonalds and it sounds like everyone loves their little McDonald's Tin Man. He is pretty cute.
