Welcome to DK. Those are all gorgeous pups.

Thank you! They are about 4wks in these pictures, half way there!! :)

You have no idea what you are in for!  This little guy will change you lives in ways you can't even imagine.  Our little AnnaBelle is an F1 English Cream.  We love her to death.  So much personality.  Look forward to lots more pictures.

Your little Annabelle is beautiful! We have been waiting for 7yrs to get a doodle. Our son is on the Autism spectrum and has some health issues, between therapy and hospital stays multiple times a year since he was 2yrs old and recently built a house in 2011 we have been to busy. But, all good things are worth waiting for, huh? lol. I'm sure our puppy will do wonders for Aidan, he says he will be his best friend :)

Welcome to DK. You have come to the right place! We are all crazy about our dogs and PUPPIES. LOL Have fun. This is such an exciting and fun time. Even at the worst, I miss those puppy days. Nothing smells or feels quite like a puppy. Enjoy every minute!! The puppies are just darling.

Thank you! I'm really excited to be here. I'm realizing hours can go by before you know it just reading all the information here, lol. We have not even got our doodle and I already feel addicted to them ;)

Buckle up! You are in for quite a ride...... Our Jellybean is also a F1 English cream goldendoodle, almost 3 1/2 years old now. Enjoy all the puppy moments; it all goes by so quickly. Congratulations on joining the DK family.........

Wow, your Jellybean is precious! I love the name!! I'm a little nervous as it's been 8yrs since our dog passed, I don't really remember the puppy stage, except he was the easiest best puppy ever. The excitement out ways the nervousness though :)

The excitement is tremendous. I have a Labradoodle Riley and a cream GD Boris who is 16 months old now. Those photo;s remind me so much of Boris when he was that age. Your family life is about to change for the better, you cannot imagine how much joy and love these dogs bring with them which is just as well since there is an enormous amount of work that comes with them LOL

Your doodles are beautiful!! I have heard from others how our lives will change with a doodle and we are so excited!! Got to admit though, a little nervous, it's been a long time since we had a puppy. I'm sure I will remember real fast when we bring him home, lol!! :)

Jenny, welcome to DK! Every one of those boys is gorgeous so good luck with your pick:) My doodle and I became a therapy team last spring and we began working with autistic children last September.  It's actually a reading program.  But for me, the reading is secondary. Seeing the bond that has developed between Finn and (especially) some of the more severely challenged children has been a joy and has exceeded my expectations.  Sometimes there are no words for the intuitive loving nature of these dogs. I think you are at the beginning of a wonderful journey for Aidan.  Please share your stories with us.  I'm so excited for you!

Thank you! I actually have been looking into how the whole dog Therapy thing works and how one goes about that, ultimately that would be a dream of ours. Besides us wanting a family pet one of the main reasons we wanted to get a dog was for Aidan. After reading numerous information on what dogs can do for Autistic people/children and the bond they have to one another is like no other, we know this will be nothing short of great for Aidan. I am so happy for you and Finn, it has to be the best feeling in the world seeing those childrens faces with your Finn. The past 6yrs has not been easy on Aidan as a quarter to half of his life has been spent in a hospital due to health issues. Aidan met all his milestones said his first words and everything, then that dreaded day that will forever be so vivid to me came, the day he had his 15mo shots, he never spoke a word or looked us in the eyes again. We wondered if we would ever here him say daddy or mommy or I love you again. It took a lot of hard work but that day did come!! He was also diagnosed at 3yrs old with Hyperlexia (where you can decode words and read at a ridiculous young age). When he was 3yrs old he was academically at a first grade level. Although he is still behind his peers socially and with his speech. It's all in there just sometimes hard to get it out. He was our surprise miracle baby. We had 2 girls and were done. My husband had a vasectomy that went terribly wrong due to the doctor that performed it and a month later was in surgery for over 6hrs getting the right side fixed by a specialist. He was better after that and then 5yrs later... I was pregnant!! I think we were in shock until after he was born, lol. One month after he was born my husband went in for his 3rd vasectomy surgery and the left side had grown back together. Needless to say he has now been fixed twice on both sides and WE ARE DONE!! ;) Well not quite... one more baby coming Jan. 18th, our puppy!! :D Any information you can give me about what is all involved with having our puppy eventually become a therapy dog is much appreciated!! :)
