Gads, it is cold in much of the country right now.  We are having a heat spell here in California, but I saw that up to two inches of snow an hour were expected in Boston.  Keep warm back there and I hope the utilities can survive the weather.

Brrrrrrrrrrrr! Need a cup of hot coffee just thinking about it!
At a boarding facility we use to board our Golden at, they would put him on a treadmill! He was 13 and didn't play well with others. We tried it here at home, and he walked great on it, needs to be monitored of course, but it does the trick!

I've tried to put Crush on the treadmill and I don't know if she didn't understand it or didn't like it, I don't know.

Oh gosh. Stay safe! A treadmill sounds like a plan.

Brrrrrrrrr, it is so cold here. We are having the coldest winter in 40 years. Today it was -30 with the windchill but I still managed to work up a sweat x country skiing. We already have so much snow that it has broken all records with another blizzard with a foot of snow is expected for tomorrow. I do love it when the snow squeaks when you walk on it but I'm ready for it to be just a few degrees warmer. It has been so cold that the power company cannot meet the demand for power consumption and have started rationing power and we just did our three hour stint without power. We are lucky in that we have a wood stove so we are warm and cozy but not lucky in that DH gets called to work to keep all the greenhouses from freezing and try to keep the plants alive. Trouble with the generator this time and the plants may actually have frozen. It took only 30mins for the temp in the greenhouse to go below freezing.

I had just put a batch of homemade bread in the oven when the power went out. :<( Their timing really stinks.

I had just gotten out of the shower and had to go outside with Quincy and my hair froze almost instantly, that was a new experience for me. :>)

This weather is the primary reason we got our puppy in June. I can't imagine taking a tiny puppy out in a blizzard. Not to mention the middle of the night runs. Josie is LOVING the snow. We just have to watch out for plows!

Oh Donna, that sounds scary! I guess I better not complain but it is might cold here for us and snowing like mad.

We had a thaw last week, then a deep freeze.  Consequently the sidewalks can be icy under the snow.  I wear spikes on my boots, but still slipped twice with Gavin and Mylie today.  I always say a word of thanks to each person I see out shovelling their sidewalks.  It makes my outing much safer and more enjoyable.
