Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

I was just on an outing to banish the cabin fever. Drove about 20 minutes to an outdoor mall, finally found a parking space and then we walked maybe 10 minutes. Too cold, about 27 although it was minus 1 when I went to bed last night. And it was windy! But on the way home I was listening to the blues. How good. I heard Wang Dang doodle and that immediately cheered me up. And made me think of DK.

And inspired me to play more music. Sadly I hardly ever listen to music at home although I love many kinds of music. The receiver, CD and casette  player are ancient, I can hardly get the station I was playing in the car so I could use a new one. Hopefully compact and wonderful. Any recommendations?

A good thing I think!

Oh I love this one Karen!

My son got me this speaker called the Pill, beats by dr. dre. It syncs via Bluetooth to any audio my iPhone or iPad. The sound is absolutely amazing. With the Internet radio sites you can get any kind of music you like. it is also portable, comes with a carrying case, so you can take music on a walk or hike. Mine is black but I saw them in red, yellow and blue at Best Buy. I don't need a radio now! It works with Netflix for movies, too.

I saw some things like this. I will do further research.

I got the same thing for Christmas, only the speaker is by Braven.  Incredible sound.  I have been downloading my CDs to my computer and making playlists - syncing to my tablet, phone etc and putting my CDs in my car for listening there.  New way to listen to music - no components needed.  Plus I could not find an portable CD player anywhere with decent sound (save and except the Bose but it was pricey to buy the wave radio, CD player etc) and the cordless speaker has more utility going forward IMO.  Forgot to tell you about this F., as I got too carried away with the music lol.

: )

I use pandora radio, it is on the internet. It is free and you can put in any song or artist you want.
I think my cousin' shave this but they pay some kind of monthly fee. They have it on their home system cars iPad etc.
I have it for free, if you want no commercials ever, you pay a small fee. I honestly hardly remember any commercials and I listen often.. Who knows ....

+1 on the Pandora! It is awesome. Although after using it for 2 years it seems their catalog is somewhat limited. I have 8 different channels. It hooks to my car radio via bluetooth. I think the ratio of songs to commercials is 5:1 so not bad at all. And you can rate songs you don't like or skip ones you are temporarily sick of.

I love Pandora too.

Seems like I've been out of the loop but I downloaded Pandora. I need to raise more topics on DK. Such great feedback.
