Imaginative - snow nest.  Maybe it's a stretch but I just wanted to post somewhere.  Obviously it's ... shall we say, ahem ... heavily inspired by the Saul Leiter picture I like so much with the red umbrella.  But I like it.

I really love this one, Jay.  Your composition is perfect to my eye, and it's soft and subtle....with a fabulous red focal point.  I think what I like best about it is the "story" that I get to make up about this child.  Is it a boy or girl?...what is he/she thinking about?...and I'm remembering back to what it feels like to  be "one with the snow".

Thank you Jane. It was a little girl I believe. I can remember being there so vividly. I even had a red snow suit. I might have a picture even, somewhere.
