Does your doodle stalk his/her toys?

Brody has recently stopped just 'chasing' his toys when we throw them. He is now 'stalking' them. We throw the toy, he slowly 'stalks' it and when he's about 3 feet away he will jump and pounce on it...

Anybody else's doodles do this?

My pup does that with lego blocks.  He has a couple of them that he tosses up in the air, then

when he goes after them it is like he is stalking.  Looks exactly like a kitten, so cute!

Quincy is also a stalk and pounce - but also a big time shaker.  His latest favorite is stealing cardboard tubes left from wrapping paper out from the recycle and running around the yard with it in his mouth until he goes in for the "kill" .  Can't help thinking what he did to those poor lobsters out there in the dark New Years Eve!
