I read that a pea-sized bump is normal and that bump is pea-sized, but it's a bit red. There is no oozing, hot skin, or anything. The incision has been really raised and jagged ever since I picked her up from the vet. I just feel like after 13 days it should look better. I'm concerned that if I take her into the vet and they need to do anything to it, my pet insurance will be ruined (I got her spayed right before signing up for pet insurance) so anything wrong with her spay would be a pre-existing condition.

The bump has shrunk quite a bit so I'm just continuing to watch it :)
Just my opinion but it looks right for a surgery. It's not oozing or red hot. With past surgeries I've had skin sloughs off ( what you might think as dirty) , a bit of swelling, and some crusty bumps.
F., said " leave it alone" and I agree with her. Give it time to heal :)
UPDATE: Crush's incision has healed up nicely. I can barely see it anymore and it is getting covered over with hair. There is still an (invisible) little bump that I can feel, probably the dissolving stitch. Thanks for the support, everyone.
Glad to hear it! Thank you for updating us!
