So....what is it????????
In the first pic, see a rabbit. Compare to the image in the second pic. The camera is mounted to a tree, so the exact spot, and same distance. Bobcat, maybe? Sure isn't a housecat!

Hard to tell - keep the web cam going to see if you can capture a better picture.   My girlfriends and I were just talking about bobcats yesterday.  They were saying how many they have seen in their neighborhood.  (They live on a green belt off a lake.)  Very scary and in the daytime too.

Cam is still tethered in the exact same spot. The cam is motion activated...daytime pics are excellent, but nighttime, they get a pic hazy. We get nothing in the daytime but, crows, the occasional rabbit, squirrels and Enzo has she runs by ;)

Bigfoot maybe - LOL :)

LOL....Barb... I've already said...if we get a pic of Bigfoot...WE'RE. Moving, :p

country person here, too- my immediate thought as bobcat as well...definitely not a coyote-wrong body shape

Thanks, Stephanie!

The creature at 23:39 looks like a manx cat.  The other is definitely a bunny.  I'd like one of those cameras.

LOL...we recognized the rabbit right off;). I only posted it to do a comparison in size in the same location.

The camera has been fun and we've " caught" some interesting pictures. It was a gift from my son for Christmas.
Hopefully, you know I wasn't trying to be snarky.....just my weird sense of humor!

But of course.  You write as a highly intelligent person with a great sense of humor... Don't you think the rabbit looks too small to be full grown?  It looks more like a young bunny to me.  I don't know how tall a bob cat is but the first thought that popped into my head was Manx when I saw that other critter. It's probably prowling around looking for the bunny who lives nearby.  To my horror, my big cat Peasblossom once brought home a bunny for dinner.  She's caught squirrels, weasels, snakes...

Actually....it probably is a full grown California Hare. But that's my point...it is quite a distance away...making the "cat like creature" even bigger.
My husband actually sent the pic off to a friend of ours who is Wildlife, Fish and Game warden to get his thoughts on it. Will keep you posted!
Just measured distance...it is a good 40 ft from the camera site, to the trail where rabbit and "creature" are.
