How long will it take to grow back? Comments Needed!

I love my Murphy Doodle long and shaggy but I am thinking of cutting it all off or at least down to about an inch. If I do this how long will it take for his hair to grow back to the 4 inches that it is now? He is 15 month old and has never had a hair cut before.

Have you tried clarifying shampoo? My son has had his hair every color imaginable and when he wants to take it back to something around "normal" he will use some good clarifying shampoo. Worth a try.

No, I didn't know about clarifying shampoo. Anything is worth a try. I tried white vinegar last night and that didn't work. I think that the dye really penatrated the hair. I did send for some White on White that someone else suggested. I think if that doesn't work I will have to cut it if I want that ugly color gone. Thanks for the suggestion. If it works I will let you know.
