It's Raining!

For the second time this week, it is raining, and we are absolutely delighted.  Finally, a little moisture.  It was so warm in January that we did not even have a fire in the stove.  Time for some fires again, we hope.  A fire and some chips and guacamole - great way to spend Super Bowl Sunday.

I just finished filling out the rebate forms for newly installed rain barrels . But a lot of good is does...they are bone dry. :(

Hey Lynda...I am up here babysitting or have been for 7 days and heading home tomorrow.  I loved the rain but it certainly wasn't all that much.  I guess anything is better than nothing.  Rather chilly today...huh?  One of these days when I come up and don't have to babysit and Gracie comes too we MUST get together again!  Enjoy the game today!

Ha ha! I am in Canada, we have had over 4 meters of snow since the beginning of December where I live. We are so worried about flooding in the spring when it all melts - I'll try and send some of it your way!!

We were just talking about this today. Here in Southern Ca. our mountain tops snowpack is nil. :(. All of California would welcome just an 1/8 of that!
