Poor Max is being neutered tomorrow.

So Max goes in tomorrow morning to be neutered, well I guess it's actually today looking at the time. I am really nervous. I've never been nervous with any of my animals in the past, but Max had a bad reaction to his vaccinations, I know that's totally unrelated to the neuter but I guess it just has me really worried. :(

I agree 100%. Only thing I would use if JD needed a cone.

Max is a beautiful boy and he will be back to his old self in a couple of days. Those cones always make things look worse. Hope he is resting well.

Bonnie they did send home pain meds for four day, and told me I could ice it to help with the pain. He does look so pitiful, but I know it's for the best. With the snow we have right now it's a good time for him to be out of commission, too hard to walk in like 3 feet of snow!

Awwwww..So glad he is home safe with Mom now to take care of him.
Does he absolutely hate the cone? They are so loud and cumbersome. Petco or PetSmart, both, sell smaller, soft cones and just as effective.
Time for you both to get some much needed rest!

I don't really understand the meds, I guess I should have asked more questions, like they said to wait till tomorrow morning to give him one dose, then do the same time everyday for four days, but he seems to be in a lot of pain right now, like has the anesthetic warn off already? Am I just being too anxious about this?
