Breeder Puppy Pics

Hi friends! I've been lurking around for awhile and soaking in all of the great knowledge. Everyone on DK is AMAZING. Can't wait to finally share my updates once my puppy arrives. Our puppy was born Jan 24th and we get to take him home the last week in March.

I was wondering how often your breeder updated you with pictures of your puppy?

Our breeder is so nice and responsive but I feel like a pest asking her for more pictures. So far she has only posted one group shot. She said she was going to post individual pictures this weekend but didn't get around to it. She's torturing me! I literally reload the page every 10 minutes hoping for more pictures. I'm just so excited for our little guy to come home.

I did the same thing…& felt like a stalker…the breeder posted pictures every 7-10 days…as time went on, I called her a couple of times & asked for the pictures…as soon as we picked Oskar, she sent several of just him…I know exactly how you feel :)

Wow I can totally relate! I am also obsessively reloading my breeder's page to see an updated photo of my little guy. He was born on January 6th and I get to take him home on March 10th. Our breeder has posted 2 individual pictures so far. The first one when the puppies were just a week old and then the second one when the puppies were 3 weeks old (which is my profile pic.) My puppy turned 6 weeks old yesterday and I am DYING to see an updated photo of him. She said she'd post new pictures at 6 weeks and I can't wait. Also, I don't want to be a stalker and ask her. Anyway, I don't think I answered your question very well. Please excuse my rambling and over excitement. :) I hope you see an individual picture soon! 

P.S. That group shot is soooooooo cute. I love the ones with the little white paws!

Hi Katie - a year ago I was in your exact shoes.  Our breeder posted pictures each week.  I would hit re-fresh sometimes all day hoping that the site would be updated.  We were 6 hours away and never got to meet our Sophie in person until we picked her up. So, since we had to pick without meeting her, we even asked our breeder to take small videos of the three we had in contention.  That way we were able to see them in action.   We felt like pains too, but it's a big deal and I'm sure they are used to it.  :)

Each week! that's awesome. I might bug her if she doesn't post anymore by Friday. He'll be 4 weeks on Friday :)

Oh they look so cute and what a beautiful red!!! Who is your breeder??My breeder takes weekly shots of my little girl. I didn't find out I was getting her until she was 6 weeks old but my breeder has since sent past photos and then one when was 7 and 8 weeks old! I get her this Friday!! Can't wait!!

Katie those puppies are such a beautiful colour! I really don't think it's asking too much for an updated photo and you're breeder is probably used to new doodle excitement. :)

I felt the SAMEEEE way, we only saw her newborn pics and then she posted her 5 week and 7 week pics but it felt like an ETERNITY waiting for those. I didn't email because I felt like a stalker too. haha! PS we got a red puppy too. :)
