Dow Chemical, the same company that brought us Durban, Napalm, and Agent Orange, is now in the food business and is pushing for an unprecedented government approval:  genetically engineered versions of corn and soybeans that are designed to survive repeated dousing with 2,4-D, half of the highly toxic chemical mixture Agent Orange. Will you sign the petition urging USDA and Obama to stop these “Agent Orange” crops? Check out to take action!

Wheat has been modified to contain more glutens because it's faster growing and puts out a better baked product, but glutens are not digestible. This was an article in Nat Geo awhile back and other scientific publications. I've heard some bad stuff about corn (nothing scientific).

Well this is something that I really follow.  They have messed with out food and we are paying the price. Now all we really need to know is what is in our food? 

Consider the labels on shelves and the hidden inclusions of soy, corn, or wheat products. I am gluten intolerant and also allergic to soy - ahhhh, but organic soy is ok as is corn.     What is happening?  They have treated the corn to be resistant to a certain pest and it has been proven that the treatment has repercussions on the human and animal digestive tract. 

Franken fries and hidden items. Country of origin, content, and it all scares me silly. So I just get mad and go organic.  It's really difficult and spendy.

Add to that all the antibiotics in the meat and we have an all out emergency situation on hand with our food supplies. Period.

We can sign petitions, scream our heads off, but bottom line is don't buy it. Reading labels is a hassle, and it takes time, but until the stuff rots on shelves it's there.    Dow - Monsanto - and the good ol' FDA are going to filter, lie, and cheat.   

Sign it, scream about it and inform your family and friends.  This is very important

Just curious - is it fermented or organic soy that you could eat?  I've been told that soy is only digestible if it is fermented, otherwise it's only good for lubricating farm equipment ;-) 

A few months back I switched to only natural meats and (besides better tasting) my headaches have disappeared!
