Frontline plus vs Frontline Tritak

Hi,


A few months ago we returned all our Frontline a plus back to Costco and because of discussions on here decided to buy just from the vet.


Today I went for the first time to put the frontline on both Jack and Molly and noticed the vet gave us Frontline Tritak....instead of Frontline Plus....

I don't exactly know what the difference is ingredients ....is anyone else on this product ? I like to stick with the tried and true meds and didn't realize there was even a. Switch....

Whoaaaa...Jen, I just Googled it and these are some of the reviews I read.  Not one has anything positive to say about it.  The reactions sound pretty serious and that is one thing you don't need to deal with.  Do not put it on Jack!!!

Yikes.. That is so disheartening to me.... We already put it on them but just gave them a bath and washed them four times each.....

The vet never said anything.. we just assumed that it was Frontline with a different box since we had been buying it at Costco and then like I said I went to put it on them today.... 

I feel so annoyed as they should have said they didn't carry Frontline Plus anymore and told us.. SO glad we looked. Thanks for the link

Wow! This is awful! I'm so glad I read this... It sounds like it's a horrible product.

Tricky.....when we purchased this we told them why we were buying from them.....I am really bothered they didn't say anything....even more bothered I didn't notice until now...

Both Molly and Jack got shampooed within an hour of application.... We shampooed them and rinsed them at least four times...... They are fine.....

I hope other people,see my post and are careful ........

Jen...your post is almost off the front page due to lots of posts today.  I really feel it needs to remain longer on the front so people see it.  How would you do that...repost???  This is really serious stuff!
