I bought my puppy (who comes home on Saturday) Blue Buffalo Life Protection Formula Puppy Lamb & Oatmeal Recipe Dry Dog Food - has anyone else's puppies ate this, if so, how did they like it? I've seen conflicting things about BB online and now I'm a bit concerned about my choice.

There is no reason to be concerned. Blue Buffalo is a good brand. I personally prefer the grain-free Wilderness Puppy formula, but every dog is different.

But you MUST not change one single thing about your pup's diet for at least two weeks after he comes home. Do not introduce a single food or treat other than whatever he was getting at the breeder's no matter what it is. If the breeder is not using treats, use tiny pieces of plain boiled white meat chicken as training treats.

I'd like to switch to the Acana or Origen brand but wonder if there's a transition Puppy to Adult option or if I should just mix the puppy kibble in for the next month or so?

Sharon, at 11 months, Mocha doesn't need puppy food any more. You can go straight to an adult formula.
