My Bailey loves to sleep on the couch..Or should I say used to love to sleep on the couch.  Since getting new furniture, I have not encouraged or discouraged her from getting up on the new sofa.  Well, she has not been on it at all ; )

With the new puppy coming home in 4 weeks and Bailey not liking the new sofa, I want to get a big doggie bed for the two of them to share.  Bailey likes to prop her head on the sides of the couch so I am thinking she would like one with the bolsters around the sides...

I have been searching everywhere on the internet and they seem to come in all shapes and prices...

Any recommendations that any DK'ers might have would be most appreciated!!

By the way, this is a great video about finding the right size bed @ Orvis (and how they are made): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lALJiYasY9Y#t=237

Thanks, it does have some good info..

I have seen great dog beds at HomeGoods (sometimes also at TJ Maxx/Marshalls).  Once you know what size you need it's worth a look - the prices are excellent!

Robin, I have seen some fabulous ones there, too! Big enough for our 100 pound Vern!

Wow...100 pounds! Riley is 38 and can be a bull in a china shop in our house just at her size. It's a good thing they are so cute!!!  :-)

I have seen them at Costco, another oops for me - as I should have grabbed when I saw them - when I went back I had to make do with plain old round.  I think both of my dogs would really like the bolster, they both like pillows and are constantly using each other for a prop.  Meanwhile they are happy as can be with their 42" round bed and it holds both with room to spare - there is also a big one in the living room, a smaller on in the kitchen and darned if the little guy didn't make his own out of a back yard cushion just so he could hang under the end table next to me sometimes.   That all being said, they still have no problem sprawling or curling up on cold hard floors or dirty carpet when they feel like it.

I think they are called Bowser dog beds. They are double donut beds, come in lots of colors and sizes. These are really nice beds. I have a medium, large and x-large. I take them apart and machine wash and dry and they look as good as they did the day I bought them. They aren't cheap, but they are very well made.
I found the Bowser beds at DogBedsWork and they have a 30% off coupon.

I love Orvis beds!  I have the Dream Memory Foam Lounger.  No bolsters :( but it fits perfectly into a corner of the family room and it must be comfy because he likes it.  Would love to find some doggie bolster pillows.  It's the FIRST bed Finn hasn't destroyed and it's too heavy for him to drag around the house.  I got it at an Orvis outlet on sale so I saved around 40%.

Ohh, Orvis has an outlet hummmm!!

FYI, Grandin Road (affiliated with Frontgate) has a sofa bolster bed on sale. I love the spa color :)

Now, if $$ were no concern, I'd love a Dreamease bed: http://www.kepetfurniture.com/our-story.cfm. (Read her story)

Orvis still gets my first vote though, especially if the bed is made in the USA. If I just knew my pup's name, I'd order one myself! :)

I'll throw another vote in for Costco and TJ Maxx/Marshall's. :-)
