So Aria came home on Friday, the trip was pretty smooth, beside 2 car sicks.

She is so cute.  Today I had appointment  for check up and Aria has a Hookworm, Im very disappointed at the breeder she said in contract that Aria had  2 deworming and i brought  her home and now she is sick. My poor baby!!

Vet give her 2 pills Interceptor 1 now and then next in 10 days.

Disappointing, but not all that unusual. Most likely the 2 doses will take care of the problem.

I know...I would be upset too. The good news is the Vet found them early on. I'm betting your pup contracted them from mom via her milk....wonder if the Breeder knows/ knew. I certainly would inform her! Gone undetected, the puppies could be in real trouble.

I will call her tomorrow morning, I just dont understand how she can say that the puppies are healthy and 2 days later the puppies are infected in parasites.

I am sorry Aria has hookworm, but I am sure she will be better soon since the vet caught it so early.  Enjoy her.

I'm sorry Aria has hookworms. I would be upset in your situation also. Thankfully, the vet caught it quickly and hopefully your little sweetheart will be in tip-top shape shortly!

I am really sorry to hear this and I hope Aria gets better very soon! Of course I am very disappointed to hear about this since we have the same breeder and I am rather shocked that she would hand you a sick puppy. I hope you reached her on the phone today. I'm so sorry that your baby's sick. I hope she is feeling better soon.  I too would be very upset with the breeder. Her puppies should be leaving her facility in good health.  I'm glad Aria has you to take care of her now. :)

Aria is feeling a lot better, I called the breeder she was shock by the news I give her, she said that never happened before, but I just dont buy it, and in my opinion she is not as responsible as she say she is.
