I took my doodle to Home Depot for the first time today.  Talk about attention......everyone wanted to stop and talk and touch.  I need to take her more often....who needs match.com?!!

I took yogi into Lowes before he had all shots. I just carried him into store, then he walked. Some people on this forum keep their doodles in a shopping cart.

I was told by multiple trusted sources to take the puppy to public spaces to socialize even before he has all his shorts. You can let the pup walk in the store there or carry pup around or, like you suggested, put him in the cart. I'll try out all of these things. Socialization is so very important - and fine if you are very careful not to let the puppy walk in dog-centric spots.

We got to both Home Depot and Lowes all the time with Enzo. She loves it and so do the employees and customers...only problem, it takes us twice as long to run errands.

Fortunately....I love browsing in both of these stores.  It should be even more fun with Shelby by my side.

It would be nice to see more furry friends at Home Depot & Lowes.
