March Assignment Unique Perspectives

Inspired by DJ's recent bench photo and others, this month I thought we could shoot things from unique perspectives. Look up, down, at an angle whatever. Some people suggested spring and I would love to see it but up to a foot of snow is predicted for tomorrow through Monday so I guess we can wait on that although the waiting is getting hard.

I think they are only found on the Pacific coast.  There is an annual banana slug race somewhere in California along the Russian River.  

I think my rear was in the air in the photo taken by my hiking companion :)

Banana slugs are in Northern California. We don't have them down south. I think they are creepy. Sometimes when we hike when I visit the family in San Jose, there are so many that you have to watch your step. Actually, I am there right now at the airport waiting for my flight back to San Diego!

Come on DJ, you should have to post the photograph of you taking the photograph.  That would probably take top prize for alternate perspectives.  Love dem slugs and bugs.  You inspire me to get right into the dirt to take pictures - once the snow is gone from here.

Good points. Take some timer shots of you with derrière proudly up in the air and the threats will become worthless and it will be a new perspective. Best use a wide angle lens : ) JK, I know you are slim.
