Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
I recently adopted a male Goldendoodle puppy who was born 01-08-14 my husband and I found him at a Pet Store that i know is actually a good one where my parents adopted one of their dogs as well. any way there were 3 goldendoodle puppies all born on the same day there the other 2 had longer and more wavy hair and were a little more redish. ours has very short more like a golden retrievers coat, I was just wanting to check to see what you all think about my puppy?

He is adorable! Enjoy every minute!
Luke is absolutely precious and looks so comfy with you! Enjoy him! I have no advice on his coat because I'm still going through changes with our Rue! Good luck!
Your puppy looks so much like my Josie when we got her. She looks just like a miniature Golden retriever but with fine delicate features. She has thick, wavy soft hair on her neck, shoulders and chest. Her back is more coarse and sparse, then thicker again on her rump. Her mother was a little golden doodle and dad was a small golden retriever. She is a shedder and is 1 1/2 years old.
He's adorable! He may end up looking more like a golden --maybe with a wavier coat. That happens within litters. I don't support pet stores that sell puppies, but he looks like a love and I wish you the best with this little sweetheart.
He's gorgeous and smart and loved to death :) Luke looks like you're a real winner. I love his expressions :)
He's adorable and I am so happy, you are happy. That's what counts. One thing to mention is that he very well could be a pure Golden Retriever or any other mix. Just because he had two siblings that were Golden Doodles, the female Dam can sire pups from more than one sire.
In one litter, it is not uncommon to have several different breeds if more than one male was involved.
I will back up the statements that dogs should never be sold in any pet stores and many states are establishing laws against Pet store puppies. I believe California is the latest state to outlaw this practice. You may have a good pup, but more often than not, it is a very sad and bad practice
Enjoy your little guy!!! May you all live a happy and healthy life together
He is the CUTEST! We are looking to adopt right now and are searching far and wide for one that looks just like him. We are hoping to find a dood that has that more retriever look. Do you know is it common? Did they tell you who his parents were? Wondering how we can find one just like him for our family! :) -Cari
