on Monday I took our now 10 week old puppy Luke to the Vet, they said he was perfectly healthy gave him one of his shots and did a fecal test that came back clear of anything. then on wednsday night he started to make this gagging/coughing noise throughout the night, it didnt continue in the morning or during the day ir even last night but then this morning he started to make a wheezing sound kind of like coughing, other then the noises he is acting totally normal playful eating and drinking pretty regulary so idk what it is. I gave him some low dose Benadryl this morning and will check how he is when i go check on him on my lunch break in a couple hours. does anyone have any suggestions? I just want to see if it is something normal before taking him to the vet, also I need to know if it is ok if i keep our first training scheduled for sunday?

It is possible he has kennel cough. It is not normal and if he still has a vet visit is a good idea.
I think very likely. Where else can you find every germ known, but at your vet. I believe we contracted a few things at the vet also.
A good idea is NEVER let your dog on the ground at the vets. If at all possible, hold your pup until they're too big to hold. Even then, I make Spud sit in a chair in the waiting room
Luke is adorable! I am not the most experienced in this area, but I don't think coughing/gagging/wheezing is normal. I don't know how long you were at the vet's office, but I wonder if Luke could have picked up kennel cough from the short time you were there. I would definitely call the vet to at least ask what you need to do for him. Updates, please!
I called the Vet and she didnt seem to think it is Kennel Cough just a respitory issue and they are going to check if they can get me a antibiotic for Luke. when they call me back i need to find out if I can still take him to his training on sunday because I already paid for it.because it isnt a constant cough at all. i also think it could be from him pulling on the leash sometimes when he gets excited so I think i am going to go get him a harness so if he pulls it wont be crushing his neck.
If he has kennel cough you have to quarantine him for awhile. I definitely think your vet needs to see him.
How do they diagnose Kennel Cough? and idk how he could have gotten it between monday at the vet and now?
It has a 2-14 day incubation period before the symptoms show up. It's even possible that he had it when you got him, depending on how long it's been.
Some information on Bordatella (Kennel Cough):
well then wouldnt the Vet have been able to detect something on monday? they said he was totally healthy and they also did a fecal exam to test everything?
No, if there were no symptoms, your vet could not have diagnosed it or even suspected it without doing testing (which nobody would do on an asymptomatic dog).
All of that is explained in the article I provided.
Diagnosis is generally made just from the symptoms. The treatment is antibiotics anyway, so it doesn't really matter if your vet thinks it is bordatella or "just a respiratory issue" (which is what kennel cough is anyway, a respiratory virus).
So regardless of what name you or your vet want to give it, the pup has a respiratory illness and IMO it would not be right to take him out among other puppies. At 10 weeks, he shouldn't be around other dogs yet anyway.
