It was our total pleasure to adopt this cutie pie. It really will be fun to compare these two as they develop because they really do look alike now. Since Junior has no history, we don't know if he is a goldendoodle or a labradoodle or a ???doodle. We suspect goldendoodle, partly because he and Bodhi do look so much alike. Junior's eyes are golden - his coloring really is very lion-like.

Thanks, J! It seems like we wake up to a new puppy everyday : ) I'm so surprised at how long and wavy his coat is getting.

Bodhi is almost 5 months, and it looked like he would have a flat, retriever coat. Now the waves are coming in a lot, and his facial furnishings are also coming in. Anyone want to guess what his coat will end up like? Anyone with a similar doodle? : )

I don't think he'll have much fluff on his muzzle/eyes, since he doesn't have much there pointing outwards from his muzzle. I think the rest of his coat will be long and wavy though! His coat looks like the only wavy part of Luna's coat - on top of her shoulder blades. (Her neck area is curly too but doesn't look like that)

You can sort of see it here - JUST the part on her shoulder blades is like that nowhere else lol. It's about 3" long and doesn't grow any longer.

Thanks for your thoughts, J! I agree that Bodhi's coat looks a lot like Luna's at her shoulders. She's so lovely! Not sure the photos show it, but the fur from his muzzle is coming in some - almost an inch (but as you say, definitely not a lot). He's got more beard and sideburns going, for sure : )
