Milo had his second grooming today!  I am always a little nervous after seeing some of the cuts that people have posted here.  Mine has done such a good job!  The other bonus is that she only charges $20.  I always give her more since she does so good.  Here are the first two times.

A good job and $20 is a miracle.

I'm just curious as to what instructions you gave the groomer?  Was this a full cut or just like a feet & face.  Reason I ask is that he is still pretty long so would have had to be a scissor cut or she has a really long blade guard?  He looks cute, but these pics look a little like before pics.  I've not encountered one this long after a clipper cut.

Great job! He looks perfect and you have a wonderful groomer.  I have my doodles scissor cut too which usually costs more, but my groomer doesn't charge extra for it either.

Milo looks so adorable, I love his fluffy head!

Good grief!  $20 is unheard of in here in our area.  I have taken Sophie to no less than 7 groomers and I really only thought one of them did what I asked.  She moved from her salon and I can't find her again.    I know this sounds like I have unrealistic expectations and maybe I do but I try to explain what I want and I even take pictures.   I have never paid less than $50.  Can I ask where your groomer is located?  Is it in driving distance of Lexington, KY??  :-)  Milo looks adorable.  Holy cow I want to kiss that little face.

And she is more than reasonable.  You cannot even get just a bath here for that! LOL  Our groomer charges $85 per dog and I tip on top of that!  Yikes!

Milo looks perfect!!
$20! That is incredible.

Gorgeous!

We are in Pennsylvania.  These pictures are both from after grooming.  The top is the very first time and the bottom was just this week.  She baths him, blows him out.  I told her to just trim eyes, feet and bum.  I like the longer look and I am afraid if I cut him he will look like a poodle as he is pretty curly underneath!  He is pretty fluffy right after but in a couple of days his hair settles down and he looks great!  I always give her much more than $20.  I feel that it is worth it!!!  Thanks for all of the good compliments!

I didn't think it looked like he had had his hair cut!  $20 for just a bath isn't too bad, particularly for a small dog.  You are going to have to be really careful though keeping him that long, with him curly underneath when he starts going through the coat change.  Please make sure you are combing him clear down to the skin.  It would be a shame for him to have to be sheared down to the skin if he gets matted.  It can happen so quickly when they are going through the coat change.  you don't even realize it.  Also, another trick if you want to tame the fluff a little when they first come from the groomers, just spritz with a spray bottle of water.
