Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

Hey. I know I have been quiet on here.  Things in my life are super crazy right now but I will save the updates for my FB page as many of you follow me on there and I am super grateful for the support and love. It really does carry me far.

I am working on a project as volunteer for a researcher…(yes basically doing it from a computer in a hospital or home on breathing machines but a girl has to do what a girl has to do)   … and one of the things I need to do is to contact major Speciality Vet Clinics.  I need as many as possible from all over the country.  I would even take the name and hopefully phone number or address but I can look that up of Bigger vets that see large numbers of dogs with sickness and rare diseases.

Obviously, anyone who knows me know how much I love dogs, but just in case you don't, It is only for this researcher to speak with the vets if I can find any that have seen or are treating  any dogs with a disease similar to the disease he is trying to find a cure for.  The researcher is a brilliant man who has saved the lives of babies.

Adults and babies have different ways the disease manifests and adults and dogs seem to go along the same path :) for this specific disease.

If you know of any Big Speciality Vet clinics please post here so I can get in contact with them. I would be greatly appreciative.

I am hoping to share with you some amazing  personal news in the next six months but I am too scared to jinx myself and it is extremely scary but exciting.    but scary..  ..

Thank you so much

Jennifer

Jen, I googled animal specialty clinics and came up with a multi state list that may help.  You can also google "animal specialty clinic"  or Vet Specialty Clinic with a particular name and get others.  Here's the list....http://www.vcaspecialtyvets.com/

Thank you so much! I m collecting as many as possible and will be making contact with them this coming week hopefully. I am also looking for dog owners that have dogs suffering from airway collapse and I joined a ton of FB groups. Toy dog breeds are more notorious for having airway collapse and if severe enough it can take their life or have the owner decide to put them down .

It has been amazing to see the success rate using a 3-d printer to create devices to keep airways open. To date several babies and a few animals lives have drastically improved and now have patent airways. With the first human one placed two years ago and the child is doing amazing.

The researcher needs more understanding....obviously, I think you can see why I am passionate about this and was thrilled when I was asked to try and help. I am just a volunteer but I am working as hard as I can on all the projects assigned to me.

Thanks again!

Tufts VETS - Veterinary Emergency and Vet Specialty Hospital in ...

Angell Animal Medical Center - mspca

These are both highly regarded specialty veterinary hospitals in the Boston area.  Good luck, Jennifer.  I have direct experience with Angell Animal Medical Center, and have interacted with the folks at Tufts VETS.

Thank you!
