I am such a Bad Mommy!!!

Well now I know that I am losing it, I am totally ashamed of myself...today is Oliver's 5th Birthday!!!!...I thought about it all last week, even discussed getting a cake at the new dog bakery that opened here...I have been helping DH with tax season, and I just completely forgot.  I just looked at the newspapeer tonight, and the date caught my eye, I freaked...Well too late now, so we will have to celebrate tomorrow..I feels so bad, I always do something special for him, and we invite his best pal, a Labradoodle that lives down the street.  they got her from Doodle Rescue, and they are still thanking us for sending them to doodle Rescue.  We watch each others dog when we need to be away, and both of us know we can go away and not worry about either dog.  They love Oliver, and we love Remi...BUT I just feel so bad that I forgot his special day...I bet Oliver wouldn't forget my birthday if the situation was reversed....

I would feel the same as you if I forgot my fur kids B-day!  But fortunately they do not know dates to your in the clear :)   Celebrate with him when you can - BTW doodles are VERY forgiving :)  Happy Belated Birthday Oliver !

Happy Birthday Oliver!  Cheryl, don't feel bad....Murphy was having one of his stomach flares and I was so involved with that and Vet visits that I completely ignored poor Guinness's fifth B-Day too.  I think I may just pretend it's a different day and do something special for him.

Jane, i guess I am not alone, so it is normal, lol, sometimes things we are doing just get very intense and we just forget stuff....As long as we remember the other things somewhere down the road it is ok... lol..

Happy Birthday Oliver!  I'm sure that Oliver loves every day with you and every hug is special! I had a friend who used to say, he didn't have a birthday --he had a birth month!  LOL More time to celebrate!  Oliver, enjoy your special day with all those who love you so much, you lucky doodle :)

Happy Birthday Oliver!    Cheryl.....don't be too hard on yourself.   DH AND I forgot our 4th wedding anniversary last year...until we opened a card sent to us from his mother....LOL....      Today is our 5th anniversary...and you can be sure, neither of us forgot!
