Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Our family of five wants to vote on puppy names, so we made a fun poster with the best names we have so far! Actually, my kids made posters too, but I'm just showing you mine. It's a great activity =) We do not know if we will have a boy or girl yet, so that makes it tricky to narrow down. Likely we will have a boy (5 boys and 3 girls in the litter, and we are 7th pick). We have also written in a few more names, including Patches and Mocha.

This is adorable!! My faves are Snicker Doodle, Charlotte, and Molly.
My oldest son LOVES Snicker Doodle =) Molly is definitely one of my favorites, and I really like Scout and Pepper now too. Husband likes Rocket (Houston Rockets), Flash, Lucky and Scout. My middle son likes Mocha and Patches, and my preschooler likes "doggy" LOL.
We are trying to think ahead to a fun "pair" name for when we add a playmate in the next couple years. That is more difficult to sort through!
My girl is in the upper right corner, with the tan collar.
I commend you on your very democratic approach! We just named our puppy but opted not to include the children in the negotiation. The pup was a surprise, so we were able to keep his name a secret from them until they met him for the first time. I was afraid the one who named the pooch would always remind the other of his/her victory. So the grown ups debated and agreed on "Archie." We did allow my children to each pick a middle name. Pretty harmless, right?? So he's "Archie Oscar Handsome" and then our last name.
Now, do you see why my daughter didn't name him? He'd be the most HANDSOME dog at the bark park!
We also loved Simon, Arlo and Nigel. If Archie was a girl. I would have pushed for Moxie. I love the sound and the meaning.
Have fun!
Denver or charlotte(Lottie)
Cute idea. You could make a 'family' poster with only the overlapping names on the individual posters.
