Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

Welcome to puppy madness! I think it would be a great idea to all post a little about yourself and your doodle. Photos are ALWAYS welcome.

Thinks you might want to share:

1) Your Name/Doodle Name

2) Location

3) Doodle type (goldendoodle/labradoodle; mini/standard; F1/F2)

4) Doodle age/weight

5) Photo

6) Anything else

Would also be great to come back here as your doodle ages to respond to your comment and post updates for age/weight/photos etc.

I'm Toni and George is my doodle

South Jersey, right across the river from Philadelphia

Tiny F1b Goldendoodle

Right now he is 11 weeks...at 9 weeks he weighed 5.2lbs

My friend told me I would learn a lot about myself after getting a puppy. I didn't grow up with dogs, but my husband did, so it's all new to me...especially the puppy mouthing nipping thing..but we're learning together, and he's a really sweet and gentle boy, especially when it comes to children. ( we have an almost 9 year old and a 6 year old, both boys)

Welcome Toni & George!!!

George is such a cutie! Enjoy him! They grow SO FAST! As I am learning with Spike!

Welcome. George is adorable. Love his coloring. Enjoy.

OMD George is super cute.  Lovely markings too.  Your children are the perfect ages to benefit from and contribute to the raising of a dog.  How nice for your whole family.

Thank you..this is my first experience with a dog..my husband has always had them..the boys were not initially thrilled with the idea of getting a dog, but they have come around quite a bit, and I'm learning...lol..at first I thought he was a ferocious boy, but know I know it's puppy play..and he can be super sweet and gentle.

I thought Yarrow was ferocious too!  After having dogs all my life I had never known a puppy so nippy - maybe it's the poodle.  I don't know.  But with patience and understanding and loads of exercise to tire her out when she was getting rambunctious, she has become the most amazing companion dog!... even at 7 months.  My savior was the wise advise that a tired dog is a good dog.

I think I tire out long before he does! He's going for his second round of vaccinations this Thursday, and I'm excited because then we can at least go to puppy classes and I won't feel so freaked out. I'll be glad when we can finally go for walks outside the yard, and I can take him more places. We went to my sisters the other day and she has a big yard and a big hill...he was totally tuckered out after that.
