My pup goes poop in the night! Help.

Finn is 11 weeks old.  He's a great puppy but...there's always a but....he wakes up at 3 to go poop.  He has his dinner around 4:30 and he does go out for his last pee around 1030 when he also has a poop.  For some reason, he wakes up and wants out to go again around 3.  He doesn't pee, just poops.  If I don't get up with him, he will go in his kennel.  His poop is very soft and not really formed.  He is active and has a great appetite.  Any advice?

Any results from the Vet?

No results yet. The vet was closed until Monday. Since I've been feeding him rice with his kibble, his stool has firmed up. He's slept through the night the past two nights. I'm still going to take a specimen with me on Monday. But, my gosh, it's nice to have a full nights sleep. Finns been doing fine otherwise, good appetite, loves to play with Charlie. I'm hoping its nothing. Thank you everyone for the advice and for caring.

Finns stool results were negative. That's the good news. Now to figure out what's causing the diarrhea. I've got him on rice, sweet potato and chicken and will do this for a week. His stool firms up nicely until I try to add the kibble. I'll try a different brand. Any ideas?

Glad to hear the tests were negative.  My pup didn't have diarrhea, but she did poop up to 6 times a day.  Her trainer suggested I look for a food with less fiber which I did and certainly did the trick.
