Our sweet Maizy passed away

Over the last week Maizy slowly stopped eating and drinking. I arrived home from work yesterday with plans to take her to the vet right away. I work midnights so I got home at 8am. She didn't greet me at the door like normal. I went to go find her and she could barely stand up. I rushed her to the vet but it was too late, she had to be put to sleep.

It was an Addison's crisis. I am so sad, words can't even describe. I feel like a family member has died. She was only 2 years old.

Rest in peace my sweetheart.

Our breeder feels awful as well and has said she will have a puppy for us if/when we are ready.

I too am so, so sorry. To lose a 2 year old is so heartbreaking. When we lost our 15 and half year old Wheaton, my family and I were so devastated. I could barely function for days. It really is losing a family member. People who are not pet owners may not understand your grief, but we obviously do.
