Bandit chewed on an aloe plant

Hi all,

  I just came home to find Bandit had chewed up a little of my aloe plant.  I read it is poisonous to dogs.  I have a call in to the vet.  Has anyone else had this happen?  I don't think he ate it, it looks like he bit it and spit it out.

YES, they do.

We called poison control when this happened and they said it would be okay unless she ate the whole plant.  Shiloh at a small piece and had no reaction

Thank You Carole, my vet told me the same thing.  He is doing well so far!
