Is colored mulch dangerous for dogs?

Worried!!!  this is something I wish I knew before I bought mulch!!!

Cocoa mulch is deadly for dogs. Colored mulch I am not sure. But I guess it would depend on what dye etc. is added to the mulch.

As F mentioned, cocoa mulch is very toxic for dogs. Otherwise, it depends on what's in it. But eating any type of mulch is not a good thing for a dog, and if you have a dog who does this, they need to be supervised when they're outside to prevent it. Puppies should always be supervised outdoors anyway.
