Any product you swear by that makes your dog smell wonderful without having to give them a bath? I have already purchased a pack of wipes called Stud puppy wipes but not sure how good it is  (since I haven't even gotten Gumbo yet).  Wondering if any of you have any secrets to keeping your dog smelling good?

I know that cloudstar makes a spray that is supposed to help freshen them up as I have seen it in PetBoxes. I think they call it a spritzer. I know a lot of people really like the way their products smell. :) I use tropiclean shampoo on Ragley and she stays smelling clean for quite a while.

Thanks a bunch :)  And let me also say that the name Ragley is the most perfect name! Whoever came up with it is a genius. If I ever get a girl doodle, I'm sooooo stealin your name. LOL... Seriously tho I love it!!!

That would be so cute to have Gumbo and Ragley!

I know right? I wish!! I have a feeling it won't happen for quite some time but one day! lol

Thank you! She is named after the street my dad grew up on, Ragley Hall. I think it fits her well and we haven't run into another Ragley yet ;)

I'm with Stephanie, George seems to smell good for a long time after bath. We were using earthbath puppy, and now we have tropiclean berry, they're the same scent. She gets a bath once a week and sometimes I still smell it on her when I'm getting her ready for her next bath. :) We also use conditioner on her and it really makes her so much softer.

I think I saw Tropiclean in PetSmart the other day. I'll def pick some up. Thanks so much!

Sometimes I use Show Sheen . It is a detangler and shine product, I think it was originally made for horses. It makes their fur very soft. It also helps get the knots out. My groomer uses it. I bought a bottle and use it when I give her a good brushing. It does make things easier and it smells great.

Just ordered it! Thank you!!

We love Isle of Dogs Jasmine Vanilla silky brush spray!

No. No smells. Funny, my dog runs when you get out any products with scent.  Even if I use a hand cream for myself.

Careful, some dogs have an aversion to scents just like humans.

Most animals try and hide their scent against predators. Or, will add a scent to mark territory.

Call me a prude but do we really need perfumed dogs?

I think the dogs will agree with me that natural is best.  How about  just placing a fabric softener sheet in the dog bed?  This way it is not directly on the coat.

Skin allergies?  Dont we have enough of those around DK?

Okay, I'll stop. I just dont think  dogs should smell like Summer's Eve  :)

If it ( odor)  is that bad, they probably do need a bath

I also think that sometimes the food they're on makes a difference in whether they smell. We had a friends dog stay with us, he was a german shepherd mixed with something (shed like nobody's business) when we got him he was on beneful, (his fiancé had put him on that and they were in the process of breaking up) he stunk so bad. I probably gave the poor dog 4-5 baths in those 2 weeks. Our friend switched him to premium edge (by diamond, still not high quality, but much better than beneful) the smell got better, but it wasn't until he started stealing our George's food (orijen six fish) that we didn't notice a smell, his coat was shinier, softer, but of course still shed. Idk if we got used to his "stink" or if him being a little food thief paid off for all of us. :)
