This is Lucy's favorite Christmas toy......

AND this is what is left of that favorite toy....

She loved/loves that chicken/turkey whatever it was...... She worked and worked to find that squeaker! She went right for the head , nope not there..... She then went for the leg, nope not there..... THEN she went right for the throat, aw, finally she found it. She is satisfied now and is not ripping the "thing" apart anymore. She plays with and has a blast, but no more squeaker!!!!
Let's see what your doods have done with their toys ! Are they still together?????????

Yay, they didn't last 24 hrs. Last year I found a good one that we still had until a couple months ago.

Love the pics of the chicken! Enjoyed the video too! I got them the IQube cube with the squeaky balls inside. Boone loved it but 2 of the balls were destroyed the first day and he is working on the rest of them. He tries to put the balls back inside. Tucker hasn't had much of a chance to play with it. I got them another Spot brand zap flash and sound ball (only 5.95 at Tractor Supply), the first one I bought 2 mos ago and it is just now starting to come apart. It bounces, lights flash and it makes different sounds - the ring sounds like a phone and it took a while to stop looking for the phone! Great, cheap toy!

Ha ha. That's funny! I have to many of them to even count. If I have a graveyard for all the toys my "kids" have killed I'd have had to start paying rent to the neighbors.

Did it have stuffing? We have two rubber chickens (NO stuffing) that lasted a LOOOONG time (1-2 years and one is still intact 100%)...but then someone gave Rosco a toy similar to the one above (without the Mrs. Clause suit) a year ago and Rosco ate her butt off to get to the stuffing.

No stuffing Adina. She LOVVVVEEEEESSSSSS to destuff toys! This one only had a really weird squeaker in the neck part. I did buy her a rubber pig and she has had that for almost 2 years now and just chewed the butt out of it a few days ago.

Koda is usually pretty good with his toys but if he gets together with another dog he works with them to destroy his toys. Strange, isn't it? But for the most part, his toys stick around for a while....and for some reason the noisiest ones stick around FOREVER. Haha!

You are lucky!!! I spend soooo much money on cheapie toys it isn't funny. My DH tells me continuously to stop buying them, but I see something I thing she would like and I buy it. I did buy her a canvas toy in the shape of a bone at tractor supply at Christmas ( with a squeaker in it ) and so far, keep your fingers crossed, it is still together.

DESTROYED! Except for the one that we hid from him. Mater loves his toys - to death! If they are stuffed, they last about 2-5 minutes. The Kongs do seem to be safe with him though. He has a favorite stick in the yard, and maybe that is the best way to go. Just picture this - filling his stocking with sticks!
