My Addie is 6 months old today! We are visiting family in another state. Addie's poops at home have been formed generally, with first one solid in the morning. But, she has at least two poops each time she squats, and several poop stops throughout the day. They get softer with each stool so by afternoon her poops are often pudding-like. What is odd is that this is very much like my previous mixed breed dog who sadly died at the age of 2 and preceded my getting Addie. Addie is on Orijin puppy formula and has a kong with about 1 tbs of plain greek yohurt at night. My other dog had been on Natural Balance sweet potato and duck.
I noticed that since we have been visiting, she has fewer poops throughout the day and they are better formed. We have been here two days and there are 4 poop bags waiting for the garbage-men, versus the 6- 8 or more that would be collecting if we were home. I am beginning to wonder if there is something at my home that is causing a digestive issue. Maybe the water? (Or maybe both dogs are/were allergic to my cats : ) )
We are leaving for home tomorrow so I'll see if she returns to her old normal. I like the new one better.

I can rule out the cat allergies for you; digestive issues are not a symptom of inhalant allergies. If they were allergic to your cats, the main symptoms would be itching & scratching, biting at and/or licking themselves, especially their paws.
Is there something at home that they might be getting into? The cat box or cat food, perhaps? Something in the yard? Some type of treat or chew (or human foods) that they are not getting while you're traveling?
Addie occasionally gets into the litter box. She also gets Orijin treats, but not every day. I am going to keep a close eye on her when we get home and see what happens.
I think the .only kind of "allergy" to any of my cats is when the youngest who is now 4 yrs old first arches his back under her nose, and then spits and swats at her when she starts licking him.
