Just Stopping By To Say HELLO :)

Here is Leia at her last puppy appointment (15 weeks old). She weighed 18 pounds and is now a fully vaccinated pup! We have exclusively crate trained her - for us with two small children, it was the only way for our family. She has done awesome with it! She basically has learned outside is to potty just from the crate training... We got bells, but she never uses them. She just looks outside the back door when she needs to go. If you're paying attention while she is out, she won't have an accident. She seems to be getting more easy and more laid back as time goes by. She loves her playtime, but she also loves her crate, which makes my life so much easier when I need to be working with the kids on something and cannot watch her. The biggest shock to me recently was that we have been working on a lot of obedience with her at home, but I never really trusted her to listen to me with distractions. Well, my husband was doing yard work, and the gate wasn't shut all the way. She went out of the backyard gate, but when I called her immediately to come back, SHE DID! I had these images of her taking off out into the street, and I was SO THANKFUL she listened to me. I'm not sure she would do it again, if she got more comfortable later on, but I sure am glad she knew to come when called. Here is Miss Leia!

So cute! Ours is 15.4 lbs at almost 15 weeks. What will Leia weigh when full grown?

Cindy - Her breeder said she would be between 40-50 pounds. She has grown a lot, but she is still all fur. When you wash her, she looks so skinny - LOL. I can't imagine her being that big! We shall see :)
