Love that one also!

I do too!!!

These are beautiful. I love the amusement park.

Thanks F....we spend lots of time at this Amusement Park...Tim and the grand kids love it, and there's actually lots to photograph there.

These are beautiful, Jane, as always! My favorite is #1, the flower composite!

Thanks, Linda!  I'm really just starting to get comfortable with composites, but they are such fun to do.

Please tell us more about them, Jane.

I'm really interested in learning how to do composites, as well! Fortunately, one of my website clients, Mark Johnson, is a photographer and digital artist who specializes in creating inspiring photo composites. He recently made the cover of Photoshop User Magazine with this image.

Mark has hundreds of great tutorials on his website, many of which are on the topic of how to do composites. (Membership is only $29.95/year). See: http://www.msjphotography.com He is one of the nicest, most giving and genuinely sincere men I've ever met. It's such a joy to work with him.

Mark recently brought David Marx, a Lightroom expert on board as a guest contributor, to share weekly tutorials on how to get the most out of using LR. (I'm currently redesigning David's website.) David is equally sweet and kind. A real gentleman, as well. I feel so lucky to be working with (and learning from) both of these talented men!

Thanks Linda.

I know this is over simplifying it, but for me it's just combining several photos into one.  I "collect" lots of images that I think might someday work with something else.  I've found the key to doing it successfully is labeling and categorizing them so I can find them later.  Another place to check out to get a sense for this is Photoshop Artistry on FB....you'll see lots of composite work there.  I took some of those classes and that's how I began down this path.

Linda, thanks for this "heads up".  I've heard of Mark Johnson and seen his awesome work,  but I didn't realize membership to his program was so inexpensive.  I will be joining for sure.

Yeah - his membership is super reasonable - especially considering that for joining you get a 50% off coupon for any item in his store, including his bundled products. He's teaching a photography workshop in Butchart Gardens this week. I can only imagine how gorgeous it must be there at this time of year.

Thank you for the info on the FB group. I'll check it out!

Thanks Jane.
