One Year of Puppy Parenthood

One year ago today we brought home Oliver. It's turned out to be a simultaneously wonderful and patience-testing experience. Puppy parenting has turned out to be challenging but I wouldn't trade my fuzzy best friend for anything. Some of the interesting events of the past year include:

1. potty trained quickly & no indoor poo accidents!

2. no destructive chewing and very little mouthing even when teething!

3. obsessed with anything ball-shaped!

4. still needs to be let out at night on a regular basis

5. feels the need to protect us and does a lot of barking (lots of Doggy Dan happening these days)

6. grew to be 15lbs larger than we were expecting (more fuzz to love)

7. incredibly energetic, playful and loving dog!

Here's to (hopefully) another 10+ years of taking care of this little maniac muppet!
