Erection and 7 and half week old?

My labradoodle puppy is only 7 and half weeks old but he's already getting erections. Is this normal?

When do you guys think is the best time to have him neutered?

Yep, it is perfectly normal.   Leave it alone.  It most likely has nothing to do with sex and he is just excited, or absolutely nothing at all.   

Neutering is a debated topic but I think most will agree to wait until he is 6 months old.

Perfectly normal, just like it's natural for a baby human boy to pop a woody get an erection while he's having his diaper changed. He's sure a cutie!
