Color Changing

So glad to be a part of Doodle Kisses!!! We're hoping that someone can give us some information on our chocolate baby.... when we got her (she was just shy of 3 months) she was VERY dark brown.... now she is very "latte" in some places AND she has sprouted an incredible number of silver hairs!!! Is this normal? We took her to the vet thinking there was something health-wise wrong with her... He assured us she was fine.... but we've never had a dog that changed colors like this....

Our little chocolate ALD started out very dark chocolate with just a bit of a silver streak near the top of her tail. At 2 years old now, she's got caramel highlights around her muzzle and tail and she gets some silver hairs around her body. It seems like her roots stay very dark and when she is groomed and the long hair is gone, she looks like she's back to a very dark chocolate color. The silver streak in her tail has always stayed the same. I really love the chocolates and love the changes that they go through! Your Kara Bear's coloring is beautiful! Here's Jilly:

Your baby is adorable! Libby started off black, started silvering at about 1 and now is kind of a combo! And beautiful!
