Help!  I am trying to find a groomer in the Plymouth, Michigan area who knows how to groom an Australian Labradoodle.  I have used the same groomer twice, and she has given him more of a poodle cut even though I have offered some suggestions as to how I would like for him to look.

Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Maybe you could take some pictures in with you next time. Find a cut you like....we have a grooming group too....and let her see what it is you want. That's all the help I can give :) I have low standards when it comes to my two....I just want them clean when I pick them up. LOL

I gave up on groomers after a couple bad visits. After trimming her eyes and paw pads, I finally decided I couldn't do any worse than the groomers and just started cutting her body. Actually not too bad but I too probably have low standards. Riley can't hold still long enough to do everything at once so I do a little every few days. We prefer the muppet look which requires scissor cutting which gets expensive. While she may look a little uneven, I figure it adds to her charm and it saves us the time and money of grooming visits. Good luck on your search!

Thank you!  You both have very good suggestions.  Hank doesn't hold still for long either, so it would have to be the same for me!
