Groomer recommendations

Does anyone know of a good groomer for goldendoodles in or around atlanta,, Georgia.? We've had our baby messed up twice with horrible grooming! I'm not interested in any chain groomers such as pet smart, petco etc, please help!

I see no one has responded.  I too asked for groomer referrals for my area and was disappointed.  Sophie and I had several bad experiences before we finally found someone who not only grooms her well (not perfect every time) but also treats her wonderfully during the process.  The best advice I can give is to ask around at any local functions or social events, it's surprising how you can get good info.  I found our gal when I had given up and was scheduling to take Sophie to a local do-it-yourself dog wash station.  The lady who owned the business also provided grooming services.  So we took a chance and she has groomed Sophie three times now and I have always been happy with the results.  I really know how you feel.  I was so frustrated.  Keep trying and good luck. Several people in this group have learned to groom their own dogs with great results.  Maybe that's an option for you?   Valarie
