OK, don't laugh, but sniff her butt and if that isn't it, her ears (or you might want to do that the other way around, lol). Could be her anal glands or it could be yeasty ears. Other than that, I haven't heard too many complain about their doodles having a "dog" smell.
I was thinking the same thing, ears or bum smells LOL Sometimes groomers express the anal glands as a matter of course and I don't think they should go near them. If there is a problem it can make it worse and I believe this is something that should be dealt with by a vet. Neither of my two smell doggy at all. I give them a bath about once every three weeks and brush them daily.
Since she didn't smell before, I would definitely check her ears. Olive has a ear infection right now and it smells. She will need to go to the vet to get a good ear wash and ear medication.
