Doodle and turtle

Latka, the daffy Doodle, has been in charge of finding the desert turtle we adopted over a month ago. We just tell him to find Hurry, the turtle, and he goes around the property until he finds her. Latka is very good at it. NOW. We have found this partnership works both ways. The turtle has learned to follow Latka into the house through the doggie door. Thank goodness for easily cleanable tile floors.

Very cute. We have two turtles (tortoises) too. Our dog knows better than getting too close to them though ;) Hurry - what a great name for a turtle.

I hope Orwell will be friends with my guinea pig like my Bonny was. (: In a couple of week he gets meet my Milton.
