Doodle Romp Sunday October 19th

Come join us at Arbor Dog Park Sunday October 19th 1 to 4 PM. We have such a friendly group of owners and their doodles you don't need to know anyone to feel like 'one of the family'.

Since Maggie is usually the most assertively playful with Nimbus, I'll be there to split them up. And all you need to do is ask and Paul or I can be Nimbus' guardian!

As some of you know from Facebook, Kona is more chill these days after his scare with some sort of brain swell/dizzy spell last month. He is recovering nicely, but is still a bit slower than his normal zooming self, so he will probably stick close to my side after a few little zooming rounds. Fortunately many doctors and specialists have ruled out any tumors, poison, or infectious diseases. If it recurs, then it is some sort of autoimmune disorder that is not currently obvious. Crossing fingers that it was a one time thing and he stays in remission forever! (his symptoms are very similar to my autoimmune disorder relapses, so he might be my simpatico puppy.)

I can't do after because I have an hour and a half drive back to Lancaster and want to get settled and a good sleep before our trial the next day.

I can't find the string of responses about what time to meet for lunch. I think I saw on e-mail notification from Helga that they can meet before. We can meet before as well. How about 11:00 AM at the restaurant row we all mentioned yesterday?

I'm so jealous we're gonna miss everything. Maybe if you meet early enough we can stop by without the dogs. Darn baby shower ruining all my fun. lol

I can see going to a baby shower for a new puppy.....

Is it a puppy? New baby doodle? We might get to meet baby Sierra! Does that count? And it's Kona and Maggie's 2nd birthday. I was out of the country for their actual birthday (Sept. 30), and then out of town again last week, so we are celebrating it this weekend.

Ha ha, you know I'd be there in a heartbeat if it was a new baby doodle! Lol. No it's my nieces baby shower, her first we are very excited for her. Haven't seen her since they announced she was expecting so it'll be fun to see the big belly. Can't run late grandma is chomping at the bit already! Lol. This will be her third great grandbaby, she is very excited. If everyone is meeting at 11 I'll see if we can't drag her along and leave from there???? fingers crossed but not holding my breath.

Maggie is being very sweet to Kona these days....until they are at the park...then her herding instinct comes back. :-)
