New here and looking for my first Doodle!

Hi everyone! I live in the Minneapolis, MN area and I am looking for a Doodle as a companion for me and my son! Any recommendations in this area? I have heard there is a rescue in Minnesota but have not come across it yet. That would be my first choice, to give a rescued dog a forever home! I look forward to hearing from you...

Hi Craig and welcome! If you look in the LEFT column of our main page you'll see several groups of interest to you:

1) Doodles In Need, Help -- this group contains found listings of rescued doodles in various areas of the country--if you find one near you just contact the rescue agency as listed. List is updated regularly by the group's creators who volunteer their time to help doodles in need get seen.

2) Labradoodle Puppies for Sale group and Goldendoodle Puppies for Sale group -- breeders who are members here may post ads...an ad is not an official endorsement by doodle kisses, so check their answers to the required bullet point questions and do your research! but we have many excellent breeders as members.

3) Owner Recommended Breeders -- where our members may brag about a breeder they have had a good experience with...plus owners MUST have been to the homes of the breeders in order to promote them in this group.

Good luck in your search! What TYPE of 'doodle' are you looking for? Do you NEED low shed or is it not that important? Your answers are very important as not all doodles are low shed.

Put in an application with http://IDOG.biz -- they are the only national doodle rescue -- if you submit an app then you will be notified when a doodle near you is available!

There isn't a Doodle rescue in Minnesota, but a lot of rescues find Doods. I got mine from Retrieve A Golden of Minnesota, RAGOM. They have on apricot male, 9 weeks and one 19 month that is black. If have any questions regarding RAGOM or its processes, just let me know. I would be happy to help.
