Cards Needed for my Mom!

Many of you that follow my blogs know all about my mom. Well, she had a pretty debilitating stroke recently and is very sad about her progress.  This is an 88 year old woman who still drove, went weekly to her hair appointment and manicure, loved to shop, and played cards almost every night. She is still sharp as a tack, but very frustrated that her life has changed so dramatically. It is hard when you are so far away to help much, but I thought if anyone would like to send her a card, I know she would enjoy it!  I give her a hard time about my dogs, but I know she would like to see photos of our dogs, too. If you want her address, please private message me and I will give it to you. Thanks!!

I am so sorry to hear about your mom, Laurie. My very independent grandmother had a stroke about a year ago and the total change in her lifestyle was the most difficult part for her, as well. Fortunately with diligence and time, she has made almost a full recovery. Prayers for progression and patience in her recovery. Ragley and I would love to send a card to Fudge and Vern's Grandma :)
