Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

Welcome to puppy madness! I think it would be a great idea to all post a little about yourself and your doodle. Photos are ALWAYS welcome.

Thinks you might want to share:

1) Your Name/Doodle Name

2) Location

3) Doodle type (goldendoodle/labradoodle; mini/standard; F1/F2)

4) Doodle age/weight

5) Photo

6) Anything else

Would also be great to come back here as your doodle ages to respond to your comment and post updates for age/weight/photos etc.

Your little guy is adorable and once he's all cleaned and fluffed he's going to be even more so. My guy was 13 lbs at 12 weeks and is now 70 lbs. :>) He also looked very much like your little guy at that age. It's ok to take the cone off for him to eat and when you have eyes on him. Just don't leave him unsupervised without it.

Welcome to DK, all the info you'll ever need to raise a healthy happy doodle you can find right here.

Yes. The rule is no teeth on skin. But make sure there are a variety of toys he can play bite with. Hopefully he'll catch on that when he wants to play fight with a human, there has to be an interactive toy between you.
Zoey, a ball of fur and joy, is a 2 month old Labradoodle who just joined our family on LI, NY. She is full of confidence, and curiosity and sweet beyond measure. I look forward to learning from all of you, seeing your doodle photos, and sharing milestones.
I'm Melissa and Harley and the rest of us live in Central KY. Harley's our almost-5 mo old F1 goldendoodle that weighs in at 41 lbs. His feet are ginormous! We are entering our 2nd 6-weeks of puppy class. I believe the word the trainer used to describe him was "persistent" and that is correct. He performs well for treats, but his hardheaded otherwise. We still love him anyway! Right now he's losing teeth regularly, but is pretty good about not chewing things that aren't his. However, I don't think I've ever seen a dog with so much energy! There is no snuggling or hanging with the family right now, which is a bit frustrating, but he definitely loves being with us, so I'm willing to wait it out! :-)

3) Irish Doodle

4) 19 weeks / 30lbs.

6) He thinks he's a model :)  Amos loves laying on pillows and playing with his border collie brother!

Maybe you should've called him Zoolander or Hansel! LOL He is adorable!
Amos is very cute.

1) Kathryn/Dewey

2) San Francisco and Sonoma, CA

3) Multigen Labradoodle (grandpa was a cockapoo, hence the markings)

4) 13 weeks now, was 11 pounds at 11 weeks, 6 lbs 8 at 8 weeks.

5)

6) We nicknamed him Chewy Dewey for obvious reasons. We're working on training our ten year old daughter to coexist with the dog. They seem to feed off each other's energy, whew!

Oh he is such a cutie.

Thanks, Gayle. He has teeth like razors, ha!

Boy I know all about that...lol. Hang in there it gets lots better, growing older is the key...lol.

If I had to get another, I'd get this guy. Wow... he is gorgeous.
