That's a good idea about a towel out of the dryer. Maybe that will speed up the process. We already do a lot of towel laundry for her so I guess what's a few more. :-)
Exactly! :-)
I use a Paw Plunger. works great
Never heard of that. Thanks for the tip! What is inside the cup?
It seems when I first came on this board there was a post from someone that used leggings (made from knee high socks???) on their doodle, it was so cute.
We have a paw plunger and love it, we also use a dishpan with warm water on occasion. We bought two of the Soggy Doggy mats and my girls know when we come in and say down (wet days as well as snow balls) that is where to go. Those mats absorb a LOT, I love them.
We use a combo of ruffwear boots to keep the paw snowballs to a minimum, a few sweaters to keep the snow off their bellies and legs, and if they're really playing it up i just put them in the walk in shower, turn the bathroom heater on high and run warm water for a few minutes... It steams the snow balls off very quickly and they usually drink the warm water for the first few minutes, I dry them with our dog chamois and they're good as new.
Every once in awhile we just towel the snowballs off, but we end up doing so much more laundry that way. I wouldn't be worried about snow on our floors (tile) but (1) it makes it slippery (2) if its snowing then we're usually walking around in sock feet... which become soggy, cold sock feet.
